There is an exciting new opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Enrolled Nursing Students at Austin Health. It is a cadetship program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander enrolled nursing students. They will gain pre-graduation paid practical work experience. The cadetship program would involve working a total of 40 shifts from June/July – December this year. The cadets will work under the delegation and supervision of a registered nurse.This is an excellent opportunity for the students to have paid experience, learn skills for work readiness and to learn about working within a health service.
