Connecting First Nations mob who contribute to keeping Weenthunga’s flames burning brightly.
Since beginning, Weenthunga has welcomed 585 Members, 465 of whom remain active Members. This network of health professionals and students share our vision and are working towards our objectives. We support our Members by facilitating connections, resource sharing and Member events. Our Membership is open to First Nations individuals who live and/or work in Victoria and are qualified for, or working in, a health or related role in Victoria as well as those who share a commitment to the purposes of Weenthunga.
Weenthunga has three membership options:
- Full Members are First Nations people qualified for, or working in, a health or related role in Victoria.
- Associate Members - Individual are First Nations people living or working in Victoria who share a commitment to the purposes of the Association.
- Associate Members - Health Student are First Nations people living or studying in Victoria enrolled in a health course who share a commitment to the purposes of the Association.
Membership benefits vary by type of membership and include eligibility to vote and nominate for the Committee of Management. All members receive eNews and have access to Weenthunga’s Member’s only directory and resources.
